On January 8, 2026, Muhammadjon Gaforzoda, Director of the State Institution "Republican Center for Talent Identification and Development" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Mr. Kang Sing Hong, Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Tajikistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in implementing projects to identify, support, and develop gifted students. The Center's director noted that the institution, as the responsible body, coordinates the activities of talent identification and development centers, lyceums for gifted students, and presidential schools, creating favorable conditions for the development of students' abilities.



Muhammadjon Gaforzoda emphasized the Center's readiness to collaborate with KOICA in areas such as staff development, logistical support, the creation of a modern studio at the Center, the implementation of joint projects, and the creation of favorable conditions for organizing and hosting international Olympiads.
It was also stated that the Center places special emphasis on close cooperation in presenting the achievements of gifted Tajik youth on the international stage and implementing joint projects, including improving the qualifications of the country's educational institution leadership in working with gifted students.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further develop cooperation and implement joint projects in the area of human resource development and support for talented youth.
