In the Matcha district of the Sughd region, improvement and construction work is actively continuing in honor of the 35th anniversary of the Republic of Tajikistan's state independence. This was reported by the press service of the Sughd regional administration.
On January 8, regional governor Rajab Akhmadzoda reviewed the progress of development and construction plans. Construction of a new preschool for over 240 children is ongoing in the village of Sugdiyon. In the village of Buston, renovations are underway at Preschool No. 1, and a new building for Preschool No. 5 is underway in the village of Obburdon. There are 12 preschools operating in the district, and the addition of these new facilities will increase the number of children enrolled.






In the village of Paldorak, construction is underway on a branch of Secondary School No. 40 for 800 students in two shifts, and in the village of Buston, construction continues on School No. 14.
In preparation for the 35th anniversary of independence, more than 790 facilities for various purposes are planned to be commissioned by the end of the year, including a new building for the central district hospital.






Additionally, construction of a reservoir and 18 kilometers of pipeline is ongoing in the village of Obburdon, providing clean drinking water to over 12,000 people. A brick factory is also being built in the area, creating new jobs and increasing production.
The head of the region instructed responsible officials to ensure the timely completion of the work, intensify improvements, landscaping, and preparation of facilities for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of independence.
