The team from Khujand State Sports School No. 1, led by coach Rustam Yusupov, won the Tajikistan Umed Youth League for players under 16.
The final stage of the Tajikistan Umed Youth League (U-16) concluded today, December 26, on the reserve pitch of the Central Stadium in Dushanbe. Ten regional teams, divided into two groups, competed for medals. Following the group stage, matches continued in a playoff format, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.



In the third-place match, the Aral team defeated the Dushanbe-2 team 3-1. In the final, the boys from Khujand State Sports School No. 1 defeated their counterparts from the Regar-Tadaz team 3-2 in a penalty shootout. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. Following the final, the Khujand State Sports School No. 1 team became the winners of the 2025 Umed League.
The tournament's closing and awards ceremony was attended by Abdullo Sokiyev, Director of the Children's and Youth Football League, Shamsiddin Radjabov, Head of the Competitions Department of the Children's and Youth Football League, and veteran Tajik footballer Kholmurod Zardov.






Following the results of the Tajikistan Umed Youth League (U-16), Akhmad Chalolov (Dushanbe-2), Muhammad Rozikov (Aral), Yusupov Yokubchon (Khujand State Sports School No. 1), and Kirill Grilenko (Regar-Tadas) were named the best players on their teams. The tournament's top scorer was Muhammad Yudoshev (Regar-Tadas), who scored nine goals. The organizers named Khamidov Chumaboy from Khujand State Sports School No. 1 the tournament's best player.
