As a result of a new Russian attack on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, infrastructure and a business were damaged and two people were injured, regional authorities reported.
The airstrike took place on the night of Monday, December 15. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces launched 153 attack drones at Ukrainian territory. Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 133 drones, but recorded hits in ten locations.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Vladislav Gaivanenko, settlements in the Mykolaiv community in the Sinelnyky district were attacked using drones. Two men, aged 29 and 42, were injured. The attacks caused fires and destroyed infrastructure.
Rescue services later reported that while extinguishing the fire, Russian troops launched a second strike on the Sinelnikovsky District. A rescuer and a plant worker were injured in the second attack. Both were hospitalized.
