The International Scientific Forum "Utilizing the Unique Advantages of Hong Kong and Macau to Promote Cooperation within the Belt and Road Initiative" was held in Beijing on December 13, according to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Representatives from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the forum, presenting the country's experience in legal reform, international cooperation, and the development of the justice system in the context of regional integration.
The forum was organized by the Development Research Center of the State Council of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong and Macao Studies Institute) jointly with Beijing Language and Culture University. Representatives of government agencies, research institutions, universities, and renowned international experts participated in the event.
Isfandiyor Sobirzoda, Rector of the Institute for Advanced Studies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tajikistan, presented a report on the role of Tajikistan and its legal system in strengthening regional cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The presentation explored issues of legal cooperation, the provision of legal services, legal training, and the use of Hong Kong's experience in the areas of international law, international arbitration, and investor protection.
