The opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the People's Republic of China will take place today at the Sadriddin Aini Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan reported.
As part of the opening ceremony, participants will be treated to an exhibition of folk crafts, as well as a concert program featuring Chinese artists showcasing the musical and theatrical diversity of contemporary China.
A meeting between the Ministers of Culture of Tajikistan and China is expected to take place during the Days of Culture.
Guests from China will be able to explore the cultural and historical attractions of Dushanbe, which will become an important element of mutual cultural exchange.
Furthermore, the Chinese delegation will visit Bokhtar, where they will present a cultural program for residents of the region. This underscores the country's commitment to making intercultural communication accessible not only to the capital but also to other cities in the republic.
It is noted that cultural cooperation between the two countries is based on the Agreement between the Governments of Tajikistan and China on Cultural Cooperation and is implemented within the framework of the Cultural Exchange Program between the relevant ministries. Chinese Culture Days are an important part of humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and China. Such events promote mutual understanding, strengthen friendship between peoples, and expand cultural and educational ties.
Previously, Tajikistan Culture Days in China were held in 2008, 2013, 2019 and 2025, and Chinese cultural events in Tajikistan were held in 2007 and 2014.
