Complex cardiac surgeries have been successfully performed at the Republican Scientific Center for Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of international cooperation.
According to the ministry's press service, the project's implementation was made possible thanks to the country's leadership's systematic support for the implementation of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as access to high-tech medical equipment.
The Tajik medical team's key partner was the Massa Hospital in Italy. Under a bilateral agreement, the institutions regularly exchange expertise and conduct joint operations.
During the latest stage of our collaboration, Italian specialist Vitaly Pak visited the center. As part of an international surgical team, he performed a series of surgeries on patients with heart disease, including children with congenital heart defects.
In addition to his practical work, Dr. Pak conducted training sessions for his Tajik colleagues on the latest methods of cardiac surgery and cardiovascular disease treatment. During the visit, specialists from both countries exchanged professional experience in detail.
