On November 18 and 19, 2025, three traffic accidents occurred on the roads of Tajikistan, resulting in fatalities and injuries, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reported.
Thus, on November 18, 2025, at approximately 3:30 PM, the driver of an Opel Astra, Dilshod Saidmurodovich Olimov, born in 1979, a resident of the Sino District of Dushanbe, was traveling from the Dusti terminus in Tursunzade along the Tursunzade-Dushanbe highway toward Dushanbe when he lost control of his vehicle and struck an unidentified cyclist. The unidentified cyclist died en route to the hospital from severe injuries.
On the same day at approximately 8:40 pm, the driver of an Opel-Astra, Khushbakht Kenzhaevich Gulomov, born in 1996, a resident of the city of Vahdat, while driving from the city center, lost control and crashed into the wall of a residential building.
As a result of the accident, the vehicle's passengers—Ismoilzoda Hasani Mukim, born in 1996, Norikulozoda Muhammadi Sangin, born in 2008, and Umedzhon Dzhurabekovich, born in 2002, all residents of Vahdat—were seriously injured and taken to the hospital. Another passenger, Kholnazar Gurezovich Ochildiev, born in 1974, died at the scene.
The following day, November 19, at approximately 12:30 PM, the driver of a BMW 520, Khurshed Bunyodovich Khamrokulov, born in 2003 and a resident of the Asht District, lost control of the vehicle while driving on the road from the village of Markhamat to the village of Gulshan in the Asht District. The vehicle veered off the road and overturned on the shoulder. The driver sustained injuries of varying severity and died in the hospital.
An investigation is underway into both road accidents.
