A number of roads will be closed in the Sughd region from November 18 to 20.

Several roads in the Sughd region will be temporarily closed from November 18 to 20. Local authorities announced this, noting that the restrictions are being implemented "to ensure the safety of the high-ranking guest and his entourage."

According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, temporary traffic restrictions will affect the following areas:

November 18:

• in the city of Buston – the streets of Khuvaydulloev, Bobodzhon Gafurov, Gagarin and Ismoili Somoni;

• highway Bobojon Gafurov region – Khujand;

• S. Aini street to the Sartukai intersection;

• central streets of the city of Guliston.

November 19:

• in the city of Istaravshan – Ismoili Somoni Street and Sabriston Jamoat;

• Dushanbe–Chanak highway.

November 20:

• in the city of Guliston – central streets;

• Gafurov-Khujand highway;

• Isfisor jamoat highway;

• Kanibadam-Dekhmoy road;

• territory of the Bobojon Gafurov district;

• central streets of the Jabbor Rasulov district;

• Khuvaydulloev Street in the city of Buston.

The exact timing of the road closures has not yet been confirmed. Authorities have asked residents and visitors to the region to refrain from unnecessary travel on the specified streets on the specified days.
