Police in the Republic of Tajikistan have uncovered several cases of theft in the capital and several regions of the country, the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reported.
A 51-year-old resident of Dushanbe filed a report with the N. Khusrav District Department of Internal Affairs. He reported that unknown individuals secretly stole an electric tricycle from his home on October 30, 2025. The damage amounted to 12,800 somoni. During an investigative investigation, police officers determined that the crime was committed by a 13-year-old boy from the Dusti district.
The Vahdat Department of Internal Affairs also received a complaint from a 31-year-old resident of the Dangara District. The man reported that on November 12, 2025, at approximately 11:00 PM, while he was at the Rohi Sabz bar in Vahdat, unknown individuals stole his Galaxy A-51 mobile phone worth 7,000 somoni and fled the scene. During the investigation, police determined that the crime was committed by a 28-year-old resident of Vahdat.
A 41-year-old local resident reported to the Yavansky District Department of Internal Affairs that unknown individuals stole two cattle from his property on October 25, 2025. The damage amounted to 18,000 somoni. Investigative actions revealed that the crime was committed by a 46-year-old resident of the Yavansky District.
Additionally, during operational search operations, police detained a 15-year-old resident of the city of Gissar, suspected of committing theft. According to investigators, on September 2, 2025, at approximately 1:00 PM, he broke into the apartment of a 44-year-old local resident, stole 3,200 somoni, and fled the scene.
An investigation is underway into all the facts mentioned.
