The working visit of the heads of parliament and heads of parliamentary delegations of the member states of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the Republic of Tajikistan continued on November 14 with a flower-laying ceremony at the foot of the Ismoili Somoni monument, according to the Dushanbe City Hall press service.
According to the information, the guests, along with the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustam Emomali, arrived at Dusti Square in the capital, where they solemnly laid flowers and wreaths at the foot of the monument to Ismaili Somoni, the founder of the first Tajik state. The ceremony participants paid tribute to the high national and historical values of the ancient Tajik people.
