Body-worn cameras will be installed on the uniforms of Dushanbe State Traffic Inspectorate (STSI) officers to record their actions and interactions with citizens.
As part of a project aimed at increasing transparency and accountability in law enforcement, at least 24 body-worn cameras were handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
The cameras were donated as part of a pilot initiative by the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) office in Tajikistan. The project aims to improve the efficiency and transparency of traffic police officers and strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
On November 5, 2025, an OSCE Office specialist conducted training for Dushanbe traffic police officers on the use of donated body-worn cameras.
