On November 10, an agricultural fair dedicated to Tajik Police Day was held near the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The fair featured produce from the subsidiary farms of the internal affairs agencies and the Agency for State Material Resources under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Prices were 30-50 percent below market prices. Specifically, a sack of flour sold for 170 somoni, 1 kilogram of meat for 50 somoni, a cage of eggs for 15 somoni, a liter of vegetable oil for 10 somoni, and potatoes, onions, and carrots for 2 somoni per kilogram.
Also, employees of the internal affairs agencies, veterans and their family members were offered other goods at reduced prices.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that every year, in the lead-up to holidays and celebrations, the ministry organizes holiday fairs selling essential goods, where agency employees can purchase products at affordable prices.
The holding of such fairs was initiated by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and is aimed at improving the living conditions of employees and veterans of the department.
