More than 10,000 hectares of cotton have been sown in the Kushoniyonsky district.

This year, 10,730 hectares of high-yield cotton varieties have been sown in the Kushoniyon district of Khatlon region, according to the regional executive authority.

There are 1,615 cotton farms in the district. According to the plan, farmers intend to harvest over 26,000 tons of cotton.

On August 15, Khatlon Region Chairman Davlatali Said visited Kushoniyon and met with the district's workers. Farm managers and responsible officials were instructed to ensure the timely collection and processing of cotton, as well as the efficient use of production capacity.
