As a result of operational investigative measures, it was established that the chairman of the Khodjamu'min rural jamoat in the Hamadoni district, R.Z. Khakimov, committed a crime related to fraud in the course of his professional activities, the press center of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tatarstan reported.
According to the investigation, R.Z. Khakimov, also a member of the district People's Majlis, served as the chairman of the rural jamoat from March 14, 2025, to the present. In April 2025, citizen Kh.D.S. approached him with a request to allocate a plot of land for his children.
The chairman, knowingly lacking the authority to allocate land, demanded 50,000 somoni from the applicant under the pretext of registering the land plot. Between April and May 2025, he received the sum in several installments and used it for personal use, causing the citizen significant financial damage.
A criminal case has been opened against R.Z. Khakimov under Article 247, Part 4, Subsection "b" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan. Following the completion of the preliminary investigation, the case has been sent to court for consideration.
Law enforcement agencies continue to monitor compliance with the law in the allocation of land plots and warn citizens against contacting officials for illegal services.
