The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan has denied information circulating on social media about a supposed presidential decree providing for payments of up to 15,000 somoni to each citizen. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
Earlier, a Facebook page called "Toqikiston" posted a photo of Finance Minister Fayziddin Kakhhorzoda under the headline "New Presidential Decree on Payments to the Population." The post claimed that every resident of the republic is entitled to receive up to 15,000 somoni.
The press service emphasized that this information has no basis in fact and is intended solely to mislead citizens. "Such ads are fake and designed to deceive uninformed users. We strongly recommend that citizens not trust such messages," the ministry stated.
The agency also recalled that in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 15, 2011 No. AP-1729 and in accordance with the minutes of the Government meeting dated June 30, 2015 No. 7, the Ministry of Finance cooperates in the area of providing reliable information with the National Information Agency "Khovar" and other official media.
