Tajik citizen Mirov Bakhriddin Toshevich, known by the nickname "Khoji-Fayz," was detained in Russia and extradited to the Republic of Tajikistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
Mirov Bakhriddin Toshevich, born in 1980, a native of the village of Mullodavlat in the city of Vahdat, was on the international wanted list on charges of committing crimes of an extremist nature, extortion, banditry, torture and hostage-taking.
The arrest took place in Chelyabinsk, Russia, as part of the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs' cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies. On August 19, 2025, Toshevich was extradited to the Republic of Tajikistan for further investigation and prosecution.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan is asking citizens to report any information or evidence related to Toshevich's crimes, as well as cases in which they have become victims of his actions.
