In some areas of Tajikistan's capital, drinking water supplies will be temporarily restricted due to emergency repairs at the Khujore water intake station. This was reported by the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise Dushanbe Vodokanal.
According to the municipality, water supply disruptions will affect the Somoni and Shokhmansur districts. Specifically, restrictions will apply to the Bogi Ayni residential area and the Pulod Tolis, Zainabbibi, Umari Khayyom, Sari Osiye, Surkhob, and Anzob mahallas. Water supply will also be reduced on Shokhtemur, Lokhuti, Bekhzod, and Pushkin streets.
In the Shokhmansur district, restrictions will apply to the Nisor Muhammad and Badakhshon mahallas, Akhmad Donish, Istaravshan, and Academician Radzhabov streets, as well as several other residential areas.
The Dushanbe Vodokanal State Unitary Enterprise urged residents of the capital to use water sparingly and apologized for the temporary inconvenience. The statement did not specify a completion date for the repairs.
