A Tajik military contingent has arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the international command and staff exercise "Frontier-2025," the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense reported.
The exercises will take place from September 17 to 20 at the training ground of Military Unit No. 20636 of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense. Units of the Central Asian countries' collective operational deployment forces will participate.
The main goal of the exercises is to increase the level of interaction and coordination between the armed forces of the countries in the region, practice joint actions to ensure regional security, counter transnational threats, and respond to emergency situations.
The Kyrgyz Ministry of Defense notes that the Rubezh-2025 events include both practical combat training at the training ground and the simulation of command and staff actions aimed at improving operational command and control of troops.
