The national competition "Best Female Civil Servant" was held in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Committee for Women and Family Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan reported this.
The competition is being held in accordance with the instructions and directives of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and aims to enhance the role of women in society and public administration. The event also aims to strengthen the professional knowledge and skills of participants and implement the "State Program for the Development, Selection, and Placement of Women and Talented Young Women in Management for 2023–2030."
According to the Committee, women currently comprise 25% of civil servants, 73% of education workers, 71% of healthcare workers, 47% of cultural specialists, 37% of scientists, and 30% of entrepreneurs. The competition in Badakhshan has become an important platform for identifying professional and talented women capable of contributing to the development of the region and the country as a whole.
