The Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan announced the dismissal of the principal of School No. 16 in the Yavan District and several other educational institution directors following a surprise inspection visit by Minister Rahim Saidzoda. The decision was made due to serious violations identified in the organization of the educational process, labor discipline, and sanitary conditions, the ministry's press service reported .

The minister's unannounced visit to schools in Yavan and the Rudaki districts took place on September 19. During the inspection, Rahim Saidzoda personally assessed the state of the educational process, the work discipline of teachers and students, compliance with school uniforms, attendance, and student learning.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, low attendance was recorded at School No. 16 in the Yavansky District: only half of the students were present, and eighth- and ninth-grade students were studying together in the same room, which violates educational standards. In the computer lab, only three of the 21 devices were functioning, and the students were unable to answer the minister's questions, including simple assignments in Russian and English, or explain the concept of "information technology."

Furthermore, problems with the school's internal regulations, lack of preparation for the autumn-winter period, poor classroom conditions, and sanitary violations were identified. Principal Munira Mirzozoda held her post for over 11 years, but, according to the ministry, she engaged in "irresponsible performance of her official duties," for which she was dismissed.

Similar violations were also found at School No. 14 in the Rudaki District. These included the principal's absence from work, the need for renovations, the incomplete transition to a 10-point grading system, a lack of preparation for the school season, and poor foreign language instruction. The school's kindergarten also had no principal, and the teachers demonstrated an unprofessional attitude toward their duties.

On September 22, the Ministry of Education and Science announced personnel changes: the principal of School No. 14, Amriddin Rakhmonov, and the head of the school's kindergarten, Zarragul Faizova, were dismissed. The ministry called on local educational institutions to strengthen oversight of the quality of the educational process, compliance with labor discipline and sanitary standards, and to ensure the effective use of existing equipment and technology.

Following these measures, all computers at School No. 16 were fully operational, and the use of information technology in the educational process was restored. Work was carried out to ensure compliance with the recommended school uniform, attendance, and active student participation in the learning process. Coeducation between different classes was discontinued, and the class schedule was adjusted to align with the educational programs.

The Ministry of Education and Science emphasized that the effective functioning of the education system is only possible with strict adherence to standards and a high level of responsibility on the part of all employees—from school administrators to teachers and technical staff.
