On September 29, 2025, regular political consultations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took place in Dushanbe, the Tajik Foreign Ministry reported.
The delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Farrukh Sharifzoda, and the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Syed Asad Ali Gilani.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the progress of implementing agreements reached at the highest level, as well as current regional and international issues.
The consultations were held in a constructive atmosphere and spirit of mutual understanding. The parties confirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
