On the afternoon of September 30, Russian drones launched a massive airstrike on the Dnipro River. The attack killed one person and injured at least 20. An apartment building, a dormitory, and a cultural institution were severely damaged, and a fire broke out in one of the office buildings, according to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
"It's the middle of the day, when children are in school and adults are at work. And it's precisely at this time that the enemy launches a cynical attack on civilians," he noted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that such attacks demonstrate the need to increase pressure on Russia. "Europe, together with Ukraine, must build a reliable defense system against Russian drones and missiles so that no country is left alone to face this threat," he stated.
