On October 2, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in the Temurmalik district on a working visit to open several facilities and familiarize himself with the residents' conditions, the presidential press service reported.
Emomali Rahmon opened the Presidential School of the Temurmalik District in the village of Dusti in the Kangurt rural jamoat. The school was built by local entrepreneurs, brothers Shamsullo and Makhmadzokhir Sokhibov.
This educational institution is designed for general secondary education, but given its high-quality construction and well-equipped facilities, the head of state, during a tour of the educational facilities, ordered its transformation into a Presidential School for the rural jamoats of Kangurt and Huseynobod in the Temurmalik district. According to another instruction, all teachers and students will be admitted on a competitive basis in the future.
An order was also given to build a 400-bed dormitory and a 200-bed preschool at the Presidential School.
During his familiarization with the conditions of the institution, Emomali Rahmon was informed that the facility is designed to accommodate 700 students.
The three-story building houses 27 fully equipped classrooms, study rooms, a 240-seat assembly hall, a traditional library and an electronic library with high-speed Internet access, a volleyball and basketball court, a cafeteria, and other auxiliary facilities.
The library has a large number of educational and fiction literature, which is actively used by both teachers and students.
The facility was built in accordance with international requirements, and classrooms for physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and other subjects have favorable conditions that will facilitate the development of students' knowledge.
Classrooms are also equipped with the latest computers and interactive equipment.
The head of state, recalling that "education is a priority area of the state's social policy, and investing in it is investing in the country's future," encouraged the teaching staff to effectively utilize the conditions created and train highly educated personnel.
The operation of the institution's centralized heating equipment will prevent the negative impact of the cold season on the educational process.
Underground wells have been drilled near the facility, and drinking water is stored in a 50-cubic-meter reservoir.
The head of state was informed that the educational process at the institution will be organized in three languages: Tajik, Russian, and English.
In addition, young and experienced teachers have been recruited to the institution to deliver high-quality classes.
The opening of this educational institution is another step towards the implementation of the National Education Development Strategy until 2040 and will contribute to strengthening the intellectual potential of the younger generation, increasing literacy levels, and expanding educational opportunities.
Taking into account the annual population growth, it was decided to take measures to create conditions for the education of 1,500 students in two shifts at this institution.
The sports ground built next to this facility is an important tool for promoting a healthy lifestyle, attracting more schoolchildren to physical education, improving their health, and instilling an interest in sports.
Landscaping of the facility's territory, ornamental flowers, shrubs and fruit trees add beauty to both the institution and the entire village.
Emomali Rahmon called the opening of this modern educational institution a shining example of public-private partnership in education. He expressed gratitude to entrepreneurs and patriotic residents, including the Sokhibov brothers, for their noble initiative. He also offered recommendations to educators for instilling in the younger generation a spirit of patriotism and a passion for knowledge.
