The Yavan district of Khatlon region successfully completed the cotton harvest campaign, fulfilling its plan by 100.76%. This was reported by the Khatlon Region Statistics Department.
According to the agency, farmers in the district made a significant contribution to the region's overall cotton harvest by completing the cotton harvest ahead of schedule. Such high results were achieved thanks to the coordinated work of farms, favorable weather conditions, and the timely provision of necessary agricultural machinery and resources.
Earlier, the cities and districts of Levakant, Bokhtar, and Dusti also reported that they had fully met their cotton harvest plans. Overall, the cotton harvest continues throughout the region, and experts note positive trends compared to last year.
Farmers predict that the overall cotton harvest in Khatlon Region this season could exceed last year's figures, indicating the growing efficiency of the region's cotton industry and the strengthening of Khatlon Region's position as one of the country's leading cotton producers.
The timely fulfillment of the cotton harvest plan also reflects the successful application of modern agricultural technologies, the competent organization of field work, and coordination between farms and local authorities.
