On Sunday, October 13, power will be temporarily suspended in several districts of Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, due to maintenance work at power facilities. This was reported by the Dushanbe City Electricity Grids press service.
"Today, October 13, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, scheduled maintenance and repairs are being carried out at the Kasri Tenis and NOB-2 substations. During this period, power supply will be temporarily suspended in certain areas of the capital," the statement reads.
The restrictions will affect the following areas of the Sino district: the Armugon, Shodob, Gurakha, Chagatai, Luchobi Bolo, Luchobi Poyon microdistricts, as well as part of the Toygar area.
As specified by the city power grid, the repair work is aimed at increasing the reliability of power supply to consumers and ensuring the stable operation of the power system during the autumn-winter period.
"Depending on the scope and nature of the work, power supply may be restored earlier than the scheduled time," the department noted, adding that energy service specialists will take all necessary measures to minimize inconvenience to the public.
