On October 23, 2025, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan held a training seminar on the provisions of the Tax Code , digitalization of the industry, and the implementation of electronic government tax services. Representatives of the ministry and the Tax Committee participated, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
As the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, noted in his Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan: "Developing citizens' financial literacy and improving tax compliance are key factors in the effective implementation of fiscal policy, including the transition to a cashless payment system, which is essential for ensuring the financial stability of the state and economic development."
In this regard, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Vosidiyon Farhod Saidullo noted that holding this seminar is timely and contributes to the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan declaring 2025–2030 the “Years of Development of the Digital Economy and Innovation.”
Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee , Narzullo Saidmumin Malikzoda, presented a report on the achievements and priority areas for the development of the tax system, particularly in the context of the digitalization of services. He detailed the mechanisms for implementing the Tax Code , the advantages of the electronic payment and reporting system, and emphasized the role of digitalization in improving interactions between the government and taxpayers.
During the question and answer session, seminar participants expressed their opinions and discussed issues related to the application of the provisions of the Tax Code and further opportunities for cooperation between government agencies.
