From November 5 to 10, 2025, Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, will host the Omar Khayyam International Olympiad in Mathematics and Informatics ( KhIMIO-2025 ). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan.
Students from the CIS and Eurasian continents will participate in the Olympiad. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and talents in the exact sciences, including mathematics and computer science.
The Olympiad is named in honor of Omar Khayyam, a world-renowned scientist, thinker, poet, and philosopher. He made history in the fields of algebra, astronomy, and philosophy, and his scientific and literary legacy has inspired generations of people seeking knowledge for centuries.
The event organizers note that holding KhIMIO–2025 in Dushanbe strengthens international cooperation in education, science, and the exact sciences, and helps identify and support talented youth.
