In the "Hayoti Nav" district of Bokhtar, repairs to a 1.2-kilometer-long road have been completed. This was reported by the city's executive authority.
This section has been paved with new asphalt, and modern street lighting has been installed along both sides of the road. The work is part of the city's infrastructure improvement and development program.
As noted, the repair work was carried out with the support of local authorities and the active participation of residents and entrepreneurs.
Commenting on the project's completion, Bokhtar Mayor Abdulmadzhid Muminzod emphasized that developing transport and utility infrastructure is a priority for the city administration. He stated that such work contributes to improving the living conditions of city residents and enhancing road safety.
"We are consistently continuing to implement programs to upgrade the street and road network, install lighting, and improve public spaces. Similar work will be carried out in other areas of the city in the near future," the mayor noted.
Bokhtar authorities announced that they plan to expand the scope of road repairs in 2026 by attracting investment and private sector participation.
