Representatives of the Ukrainian fish and seafood restaurant chain Chornomorka visited Tajikistan to explore the possibility of opening a branch.
Over the course of 12 years, the restaurant has earned trust and popularity, and the chain is gradually expanding: in Ukraine, there are now more than 30 establishments and another 15 in Europe.
Chornomorka specializes in Black Sea and Mediterranean fish, seafood, and oysters. The concept is a combination of simplicity, quality, affordability, and corporate ethics.
The restaurant's launch team and marketing team met with Ukrainian Ambassador Valeriy Evdokimov and discussed with diplomats the specifics and opportunities of the Tajik restaurant market, as well as ways to adapt Chornomorka to local demand.
Ivan, an employee at Chornomorka, said, "Regarding our plans for Asia, this market is new to us. Therefore, we are currently actively exploring these countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Dushanbe is one of the cities we're planning. We see great potential for the development of Ukrainian businesses, particularly the restaurant industry."
Today, the restaurant is looking for premises, a team, a manager, suppliers, and useful information about the local market in Tajikistan.
