Tajikistan is expecting extremely unstable weather from November 3 to 5, according to the country's Hydrometeorology Agency. A cold front will bring rain, snow in mountainous areas, thunderstorms, and winds up to 15–20 meters per second.
Temperatures in the valleys and foothills of the republic will drop by 9–11 degrees Celsius. Heavy precipitation is expected in some areas on the evening of November 3 and the night of November 4.
In the foothill and mountainous regions, as well as in the districts of republican subordination, Sughd and Khatlon regions, and the western regions of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, mudflows are possible from November 2 to 5 due to precipitation.
From November 3rd to 5th, increased dust pollution is expected in Dushanbe, Khatlon Region, Districts of Republican Subordination, and parts of Sughd Region. Levels of PM-10 and PM-2.5 suspended particles will increase due to dust storms coming from the southwest and northwest.
Citizens are advised to limit long walks along avenues and streets, especially near roads with heavy traffic, and, if possible, avoid being outdoors during dust storms.
Thus, in the coming days, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected throughout the republic, with precipitation, snow in the mountains, increased winds, and dust pollution.
