The first Investment Forum of Tajikistan and Mongolia was held in the capital of Tajikistan today as part of the state visit of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. This was reported by NIAT Khovar.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Khokim Kholikzoda, Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia Sainbuyan Amarsaikhan, as well as heads of relevant ministries, departments, representatives of economic structures and the private sector of both countries.
During their speeches, the Deputy Prime Ministers emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic cooperation, attracting mutual investments and developing bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level. Both sides expressed their firm readiness to support and implement joint projects.
The main goals of the forum were the development of trade and economic ties, attracting investment and identifying priority areas for future cooperation.
The forum discussed specific proposals and initiatives for the implementation of joint projects in the areas of energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, industry and tourism.
In addition, bilateral B2B meetings between entrepreneurs of the two countries, as well as business-to-government (B2G) meetings with the participation of government officials, were held. During these negotiations, the parties discussed and agreed on practical measures to implement economic initiatives and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
