High-quality domestic building materials were used. The total cost of the project was 6.5 million somoni.

The new facility is designed to provide modern medical services to 1,600 families and 6,780 residents of Qal'ai Dust village at a high level and in accordance with modern standards.
The total area of the health center's land plot is 27 acres, the area of the building itself is 495 square meters. The territory of the institution is landscaped, decorated with decorative flowers and shade trees.
The new health center has all the conditions for modern work and high-quality service to the population.
The head of state gave instructions to medical workers to approach the diagnosis and treatment of patients with full responsibility and to actively promote the improvement of public health.
Residents of the village of Qalai Dust regard the construction of the Center as one of the significant manifestations of the social policy of the country's leadership and a worthy gift on the occasion of the great national holiday – the 35th anniversary of State independence.
In the same village, Emomali Rahmon opened a workshop for the production of shoes and detergents "Rahmatullo".
The enterprise's capacity is 5,200 pairs of shoes per month. It produces children's, women's and men's shoes.
The new production facility was built by local entrepreneur Rakhmatullo Nurulloev as part of industrial development initiatives and in honor of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s state independence.
A set of equipment for shoe production — sewing, molding, cutting and grinding machines — were imported from abroad and installed at the enterprise. More than 3 million somoni were spent on the construction of the building and equipping it with modern equipment.
Two production lines have been launched at the plant. The main part of the workshop is intended for the production of footwear. Most of the raw materials, including leather and threads, are domestically produced.
All employees of the enterprise are local residents. For their training, specialists from the regional center – the city of Khujand – were invited, a short-term training program was organized.
The shoe workshop in Devashtich district can play an important role both in providing the population with local products and in the development of industry in rural areas.
The second production line of the new workshop is engaged in the production of detergents.
The enterprise has the potential to produce up to 500 thousand units of soap per year. The employees mastered the production technology with the assistance of foreign specialists, and the raw materials are prepared on site. The production process is carried out using modern equipment.
In another part of the building, a bakery has opened, where several local women with good baking skills have found permanent employment.
In total, about 40 people are provided with permanent work and decent wages in the Rakhmatullo shoe and detergent production workshop in the Devashtich district.
Emomali Rahmon highly appreciated the initiative of the patriotic and hardworking residents of the Devashtich district, emphasizing that the construction of this industrial facility contributes to the development of the district and the improvement of the standard of living of the population.
The working visit of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Devashtich district continued with the opening of the sewing and carpet weaving workshop "Yosuman".
The workshop is located in the village of Basmanda, rural jamoat Vahdat and occupies an area of 420 square meters. It has created jobs for 40 artisans.
The production facility was reportedly built by local entrepreneur Imomiddin Gafurov.
The Yosuman sewing and carpet weaving workshop focuses primarily on sewing school uniforms, but also produces women's, men's and sportswear upon customer orders.
The opening of the workshop was a joyful event for local women and girls from the village of Basmanda, who previously sewed at home. Now they have the opportunity to find official employment.
The workshop has 10 carpet weaving machines installed and connected. In this production workshop, women of Devashtich district will develop the ancient craft of carpet weaving.
The workshop was founded as part of state support for traditional folk crafts, including hand-made carpet weaving, in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the development of hand-made carpet weaving and other folk crafts.”
The creation of a sewing and carpet weaving workshop contributes to the development of these crafts, employment of women and girls in the village, and the creation of a sustainable source of income for them.
The workshop management purchases raw materials for carpet weaving abroad, and the finished products are highly competitive in the market.
During his familiarization with the workshop’s activities, Emomali Rahmon noted the importance of launching this production facility and gave instructions to pay special attention to the quality of school uniforms.
The head of state highly appreciated the creative initiatives and undertakings of the residents of Devashtich district, in particular local entrepreneurs, in the field of development of industry and crafts in rural areas, wishing them success and new achievements.
