Tajikistan's foreign trade turnover for January–June 2026 reached $6.82 billion , a 44.2% increase compared to the same period last year. This was announced today at a press conference at the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Exports of goods grew by 65.4% , reaching $1.58 billion , while imports increased by 38.8% and amounted to $5.24 billion .
Tajikistan maintained trade relations with 124 countries , including 10 CIS countries and 114 non-CIS countries.
The largest destinations for Tajik exports were Switzerland (32.2%) , China (26.8%) , Turkey (7.7%) , Uzbekistan (6.9%) , Belgium (4.8%) and Russia (4.6%) .
The main suppliers of goods to the republic remain China (25.9%) , Russia (23.7%) , Kazakhstan (13.6%) , Switzerland (9.7%) and Uzbekistan (4.4%) .
A positive trade balance was recorded with the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey and Afghanistan.
