Since the beginning of 2026, the 24-hour hotline of the Tourism Development Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan has provided prompt assistance to foreign tourists in more than 390 cases. This was reported during a press conference by the agency.
To promptly respond to inquiries from foreign citizens, the unified hotline +992 118 200 200 continues to operate, through which tourists can receive advice and assistance in various situations.
To ensure the service's effective operation, an interdepartmental working group has been established. This group includes representatives from the tourism police department of the Department of Environmental Police and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security, the Transport Prosecutor's Office, and Dushanbe International Airport.
The Committee noted that, thanks to cooperation between government agencies, most issues that arise are resolved as quickly as possible. Assistance is provided to foreign citizens with various organizational, transportation, consular, and other issues during their stay in the country.
According to the agency, the hotline has received positive feedback from tourists, domestic and foreign travel companies, and international experts. Experts believe this system improves travel safety, strengthens the trust of foreign visitors, and fosters a positive tourism image of Tajikistan.
