A new harmala (khazorispand) packaging facility, built by the region's State Forestry Agency, has been commissioned in the Sughd region, the Forestry Agency under the Government of Tajikistan reported.
As noted in the Agency’s report, the cost of the project exceeded 812.9 thousand somoni.
Following the launch of the enterprise, four permanent jobs were created.


The production capacity of the new workshop is up to 700 packages of products per day.
According to the Agency, the project's implementation will increase the volume of processed forestry products, enhance the added value of domestic raw materials, and expand the supply of locally produced goods to the domestic market.
The creation of such processing facilities is considered one of the areas for the development of the forestry industry and increasing the efficiency of natural resource use.
