Tajikistan's state forestry agencies continue to expand their network of nurseries for growing planting material, according to the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic.
According to the Agency, in 2025–2026, new nurseries were created on a total area of 78.33 hectares, which significantly exceeds the original plan.
Initially, it was planned to create new nurseries with an area of 40 hectares in 34 state forestry enterprises by 2026.

Currently, the Agency’s system includes five state-owned forest nursery enterprises, one experimental production station, and 42 small nurseries at state forestry enterprises.
The agency notes that expanding nursery space will provide the forestry industry with high-quality planting material for reforestation, landscaping, and the implementation of state environmental programs.
