The Committee for Housing and Public Utilities under the Government of Tajikistan, together with government agencies and international partners, is working to attract funding for projects to develop water supply and sanitation systems.
According to the department, the measures are being implemented within the framework of the State Program for Drinking Water and Sanitation for 2025–2029.
Currently, work is underway to implement the projects "Water supply and sanitation of the city of Kulyab", "Improvement of water supply networks in the Abdurahmoni Jomi district", "Improvement of the water supply system of the city of Bokhtar", "Improvement of the water supply system of the Dangara district" and "Improvement of the water supply system of the Yavan district".



To attract financial resources, the Committee cooperates with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as with development partners.
The Committee noted that the implementation of these projects is aimed at the construction and reconstruction of water supply and sanitation facilities, as well as improving the quality of public services and providing the population with reliable access to safe drinking water.
