On July 9, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon met with representatives of three of China's largest metallurgical companies in the Bobojon Gafurov district, the presidential press service reported.
The parties discussed cooperation in the development of ferrous metallurgy, cement, lime, and glass production, as well as the introduction of modern technologies in industry.



During the talks, it was noted that cooperation with leading global companies, including MMC Capital Engineering and Resources Inc. Corporation, opens up additional opportunities for Tajikistan to develop the production of ferrous metallurgy products, cement, lime, and glass using modern technologies.
In addition, it was emphasized that the implementation of such projects will contribute to an increase in industrial exports, the creation of new jobs and increased competitiveness of the national industry.
At the end of the meeting, the participants also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
