Construction of a 250 MW solar power plant continues in the Asht district. According to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, approximately 70% of the construction work has been completed to date.
The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan, Daler Juma, inspected the project's progress. During his tour of the construction site, he was informed that equipment installation and site preparation in accordance with established technical requirements were ongoing alongside construction.
According to the approved plan, the solar power plant will be fully commissioned by the end of this year.
During the site visit, those responsible for the project implementation were given specific instructions regarding ensuring high quality of work performed, strict adherence to technical requirements, and completion of construction within the established timeframe.
The commissioning of the power plant is expected to increase the production of electricity from renewable sources, contribute to the country's strategic goals in developing green energy, and strengthen Tajikistan's energy security.
