A new additional building for the city department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan has been commissioned in Konibodom, Sughd Region, the ministry's press service reported.
The facility was opened on July 8 during Tajik President Emomali Rahmon's working visit to the Sughd region. The new building was inaugurated by the country's Minister of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel General Ramazon Rahimzoda.







The construction work was carried out in accordance with the instructions of the head of state in preparation for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence. As a result, modern and comfortable conditions for service were created for the department's personnel.
The new office building is located next to the main building of the city's Ministry of Internal Affairs department and consists of three floors. It features 16 spacious offices, a 100-seat auditorium, a classroom, and other necessary facilities.
Offices and utility rooms are equipped with cabinets, tables, chairs, computers and other technical equipment necessary for performing professional duties.
The new building houses the department's divisions and operational services. Appropriate working conditions have also been created for criminal investigation officers, the drug enforcement unit, and those working with minors and young people.
A sports ground is also located adjacent to the building. It is designed for regular exercise and physical fitness for law enforcement officers.
As part of further improvement work, the main building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs department was completely renovated. Pedestrian walkways were paved and paved, and a special area for parade inspections was established.
The surrounding area was landscaped, with ornamental trees and shrubs planted.
After reviewing the conditions created, Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda held a meeting with the department's personnel and provided them with specific professional recommendations and instructions. He emphasized the need for conscientious and responsible performance of their professional duties.
During the event, the Konibodom executive authority donated a Hyundai Santa Fe to the city's Ministry of Internal Affairs. The vehicle is expected to be used to more effectively carry out official duties.
