Tajik Prime Minister Kokhir Rasulzoda inspected the construction of a 250 MW photovoltaic power plant in the Jaykhun district.
The head of the government also visited the construction site with the chairman of the Khatlon region, Davlatali Said.
The station's construction is being carried out within the framework of Tajikistan's state policy aimed at developing a "green" economy, expanding the use of renewable energy sources, and strengthening the country's energy security.

The project is being implemented in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of the Green Economy of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023–2037.
The photovoltaic station in the Jaykhun district is part of an investment program that includes the construction of two large solar power plants in the Jaykhun and Asht districts.

The project is expected to increase the share of clean energy in Tajikistan's energy balance and create new production capacity.
The construction of the station should also contribute to the sustainable development of the country's energy sector.
