The threat of mudflows and dust storms remains in Tajikistan.

From July 4 to 6, the threat of local mudflows remains in a number of regions of Tajikistan.

According to the Hydrometeorology Agency, the risk of mudflows is predicted in the regions of republican subordination, Sughd and Khatlon regions, as well as in the western regions of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

Additionally, deteriorating air quality is expected in Dushanbe, the Districts of Republican Subordination, and Khatlon Region on July 4. This will be caused by a dust storm and haze entering the country from the south and southwest.

Residents are advised to take precautions and limit their time outdoors whenever possible. Particular care should be taken when traveling on mountain roads.
