On July 4 and 5, Culture Days will be held in Dushanbe's culture and recreation parks in the cities of Guliston, Buston, and Istiklol, as well as in the Vakhsh, Vose, and Asht districts. The events will be held as part of the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, reports NIAT Khovar.
According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Asht District Culture Day will be held on July 4 at Sadriddin Aini Park of Culture and Recreation.
On the same day, the Vakhsh District Culture and Recreation Park will host the Abulkasim Firdavsi Culture and Recreation Day, and the Vose District Culture Day will be held in Iram Park.
On July 5, Iram Park will host the Days of Culture of the cities of Guliston, Buston, and Istiklol.
During these days, residents and visitors to Dushanbe will be able to learn about the socioeconomic and cultural achievements of the country's cities and regions, as well as traditional folk crafts.
Visitors will be treated to exhibitions of agricultural produce, folk crafts, and national dishes. A rich cultural and entertainment program is also planned.
National artists and creative groups will present patriotic songs, traditional dances, and musical numbers. The program will also include theatrical performances designed to create a festive and memorable atmosphere.
Since June 6 of this year, Days of Culture of the cities and districts of the republic have been held in Dushanbe every Saturday and Sunday as part of the celebrations of the 35th anniversary of State independence.
Cultural events are held in accordance with the schedule of anniversary events, festivals, exhibitions, holidays and competitions of cultural and educational nature, as well as events to preserve folk traditions and crafts in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026.
The schedule was approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 2, 2026. According to the approved plan, the events will take place from June to August of this year.
