On June 30, a meeting was held at the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan between the Academy's President, Academician Khushvakhtzoda Qobiljon Khushvakht, and Professor Yuan Daohong, founder and CEO of Nongfu Puzi Development Group. This was reported by the press service of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding scientific research cooperation, exchanging experience, training highly qualified personnel, and implementing modern technologies.
The negotiators noted that, in accordance with the cooperation agreement, starting in September of this year, master's students will be sent to study at Xi'an Jiaotong University under a joint educational program. This program entails one year of study in the Republic of Tajikistan and one year in the People's Republic of China.


It was also noted that a large number of scientists and researchers from Chinese research institutions visit Tajikistan annually. Through joint projects, they conduct research and exchange experiences with scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on developing mutually beneficial cooperation in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and other priority scientific areas. Specifically, the parties proposed facilitating the transfer of advanced experience from Chinese higher education institutions to Tajik scientists and specialists, particularly in the implementation and use of artificial intelligence technologies, and the creation of joint educational and research programs to train highly qualified specialists.


In addition, the parties reached an agreement to further expand cooperation and prepare new agreements in the fields of science and technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and the training of highly qualified personnel.
Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their commitment to further strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and emphasized that the implementation of the agreements reached will contribute to the development of scientific ties and the expansion of international cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
