The National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan announced changes to the structure of test booklets for the 2026 Centralized Entrance Examinations (CEE).
According to the center, the changes affected the test booklets of Part A for the 2nd group of specialties (economics and geography), the 3rd group of specialties (philology, pedagogy and art) and the 4th group of specialties (economics and geography), as well as Part B for the 3rd and 4th groups of specialties.
According to the new rules, this year these test booklets will be published in only one foreign language—English. In previous years, they were published in four languages: English, German, French, and Arabic.
In this regard, the National Testing Center recommends that applicants who do not speak English and who, when registering, mistakenly did not indicate the foreign language they speak (German, French, or Arabic) contact the center in advance for clarification and resolution of this issue.
The center also noted that in 2026, open-ended short-answer questions were included for the first time in the subtests for Tajik language, Tajik literature, Russian language and literature, and foreign languages—English, German, French, and Arabic.
The main stage of centralized entrance examinations to secondary and higher vocational education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan for applicants registered during the main period from March 2 to April 30 begins on July 1.
