On June 25, Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and Tajikistan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Austria, Manuchehr Jobir, met in Vienna with Gerd Müller, Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations and other international organizations in Austria. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Following the meeting, a grant project document was signed for the creation of a "Single Window" system for free economic zones in the Republic of Tajikistan, with a total value of 1.7 million US dollars.



The document was signed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, and the Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Gerd Müller.
As noted by the Ministry, the project to create a "Single Window" system for free economic zones is being financed by the Russian Federation through the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).



The project is expected to facilitate the digitalization of free economic zones, simplify administrative procedures, increase transparency, strengthen institutional capacity, attract additional investment, and expand entrepreneurial activity in the country's free economic zones.
