The Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization announced the results of the international competition for the best article on the SCO among undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students from higher education institutions in the organization's member states. The competition was dedicated to the theme "25 Years of the SCO: Partnership for a Sustainable Future."
According to the SCO Secretariat, more than 600 scientific papers prepared in Russian, Chinese, and English were submitted to the competition.
The winners were determined based on the principle of "one winner per SCO member state." First place was awarded to Khilolabonu Tolibi, a law student at the Tajik National University, representing the Republic of Tajikistan. Her paper was devoted to the topic "25 Years of the SCO: Tajikistan's Contribution to the Development of a New Type of Organization."

The winners also included representatives from Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia and Uzbekistan.
The competition winners will be awarded certificates from SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbaev and commemorative medallions dedicated to the organization's 25th anniversary.

The Secretariat noted that the competition generated widespread interest among young people from various countries. In addition to representatives from ten SCO member states, young researchers from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Yemen, Moldova, Mongolia, and Turkmenistan participated. The best authors from these countries will receive special awards.
The SCO Secretariat expressed gratitude to the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students for their participation in the competition and their contribution to the organization's 25th anniversary celebrations.
