In Dushanbe, inspections and preventative measures aimed at ensuring sanitary safety and protecting the health of citizens continue. The inspections are being conducted by a working group of the Dushanbe City Executive Authority, together with the capital's police. This was reported by the Dushanbe City Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As noted, the measures are aimed at preventing the sale of products that do not meet established standards, as well as regulating the activities of canteens, cafes, and other public catering facilities.
During a routine sanitary inspection of the "Shomi Khujand" kebab shop on Yakkachinor Street, specialists discovered 334 kilograms of low-quality meat products that did not meet sanitary requirements.
Based on this fact, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the owner of the establishment, Yormatov Khurshed, in accordance with the requirements of Article 274 of the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses.
The poor quality meat products were seized and subsequently neutralized.
The Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded owners of service establishments to respect consumer rights and strictly adhere to legal requirements when selling food products.
