The kickoff football festival and blitz tournament as part of the FIFA Women's Football Campaign, a women's football development program, took place in Qubodiyon, according to the Football Federation of Tajikistan.
The program aims to promote women's football in Tajikistan. This year, the project plans to hold five football festivals and blitz tournaments in various regions of the country.
According to the organizers, the main goal of the FIFA Women's Football Campaign project is to change the perception of women's football in the country, attract girls to football, and create conditions that will help them continue playing the sport. Furthermore, the program aims to ensure equal opportunities for children.
The first festival and blitz tournament took place in Kubodiyon, with 200 girls aged 6 to 12 participating. Football relay races, game exercises, and mini-matches were organized for the young participants.

According to the Football Federation of Tajikistan, the sporting event provided children with vibrant emotions and unforgettable experiences.
After the events, all participants were presented with medals, footballs, and T-shirts. These commemorative gifts served as a reward for their active participation and as an additional incentive to continue playing football.
